A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing the death of cyclist Joanna Braithwaite.
Stephen Bateman, of Astrop Road, Middleton Cheney, near Banbury, did not enter a plea at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was committed to appear at the city's crown court on August 17.
The 74-year-old is charged with causing death by careless driving in Woodstock Road on October 28 last year.
