TOP Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson will again run an auction of promises in aid of Chipping Norton Lido.

The outspoken journalist will help raise money for the outdoor swimming pool, which is owned and run by the community. It needs thousands each year to maintain the pool, which receives no public funding other than a £2,000 grant from the town council.

The auction is on Friday at Chipping Norton Town Hall, starting at 7.30pm.

Prizes include a day out at Williams F1, a year’s supply of Special K cereal and the bidder’s height in cases of Hook Norton beer.

Tickets cost £15. For more details or to buy tickets for the sale, click on the link.
