We are delighted that the memorial bell has been installed on the edge of Carterton. The unveiling at the weekend was a humbling experience for those who attended, but at the same time heartening to see what a community is able to achieve. The thousands of pounds needed to purchase the bell, and the oak structure in which it hangs, was raised in a very short space of time. We should all feel proud of it.
