Once upon a time a man called George Osborne thought he had a very a good day.

He had given the banks a lot of taxpayers’ money and he thought this would solve all of his problems.

He went to bed a very happy man and as he drifted off to sleep, he began to dream: It is July in Cameron Town, a small town in Britain.

It is raining and the town looks deserted. It is tough times, everyone is in debt and they are just managing to survive on credit.

Suddenly a rich banker comes into town. He enters the only hotel and lays £5,000 on the reception counter and goes to inspect the rooms upstairs, in order to pick some for himself and friends.

The hotel owner quickly picks up the £5,000 and runs to pay his debt to the butcher.

The butcher takes the money and runs to pay his debt to the pig farmer.

The farmer takes the money and runs to pay his debt to the supplier of his pig food.

The supplier of the pig food takes the money and runs to pay his debt to his sister, who had come to help him in his store.

She then runs to the hotel and pays off her debt with the £5,000 to the hotel owner, to pay for the rooms that she rented when she was working in the store.

The hotel owner then lays the £5,000 back on the counter so that the banker will not suspect anything.

At that moment, the banker comes down after inspecting the rooms, takes the £5,000, saying he did not like them, and leaves.

No-one earned anything. However, the whole town is now without debt and looks to the future with optimism.

Suddenly George’s dream turns into a nightmare.

The banker did not leave the taxpayers’ money on the hotel counter.

The banker went to Wimbledon and spent it on champagne and strawberries and what was left he gave to people who worked for him in the bank, as a bonus.

Poor George woke up sweating but luckily his friends Dave and Nick were there to help him.
