AS one of the Friends of Oxford Botanic Gardens, I am mystified as to why in last Thursday’s Insider column the writer should castigate the researchers of TV drama Lewis for referring to Oxford Botanic Garden in the plural.
Is the author of the Update from the Corridors of Power aware that Harcourt Arboretum in Nuneham Courtenay is part of Oxford Botanic Garden and scenes may well have been shot from both locations?
To make an issue of this seems rather trivial as well.
