A 27-YEAR-OLD man has today been charged with murdering a woman at his static caravan in Oxford.
Stewart Dale will appear before Oxford magistrates on Monday after police charged him following the death of Jennifer Hume at the Prospect Park caravan park in Horspath.
Ms Hume's body was discovered inside Dale's caravan after a neighbour called 999.
Detective Inspector Kevin McGuire said: “We can now confirm the woman who died is Jennifer Hume, aged 55, from Hamel Walk in Oxford.
“The post mortem was completed late last night and the cause of death was determined as blunt trauma injury to the head. The victim had also suffered stab wounds.”
Dale will be held in custody by police until his appearance at court on Monday.
