PALOMA Faith, Razorlight and Supergrass’s Gaz Coombes are among the line-up announced today for Alex James’s latest food festival.
Mr James and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver will be hosting nearly 10,000 people on Mr James’s Kingham farm as part of The Big Feastival in September.
He said: “I’m very happy to welcome The Big Feastival to my farm. I can’t wait to spend a weekend on the farm surrounded by my favourite things – food and music.”
Taking place on Saturday and Sunday, September 1-2, the weekend will feature pop-up restaurants and cook-offs from chefs including Mr Oliver and Mark Hix. Last year Mr James hosted Harvest Festival on his farm but Big Wheel Promotions, the firm behind it, collapsed leaving debts of £1m owing Oxfordshire firms £57,506.
Tickets which cost up to £180, go on sale from 10am today.
