SHE’S just 10 years old, but Amy Broome, above, has raised more than £1,000 in the space of three years.
The Tackley schoolgirl completed a 100-length swimathon in aid of Tackley Village Pre-school. Amy, who is a junior swimming club member, undertook her challenge on Saturday at Bicester & Ploughley Sports Centre.
She has completed previous charity swims for Marie Curie Cancer Care, raising more than £500 in two years. This year she has raised more than £600.
She said: “I swam 100 lengths of Bicester Swimming Pool for Tackley Pre-School because I want them to have funds for the future. I enjoyed my time there and now my little sister goes too.”
