BUSKING minister the Rev Dick Wolff made his annual appearance in Oxford city centre yesterday for Christian Aid Week.
Mr Wolff, a Minister of the United Reformed churches at Temple Cowley and Risinghurst, played the accordion without a break from 10am until 4pm in Cornmarket Street.
The 59-year-old, who is also a city councillor, was helped by fiddler Ed Pritchard and raised £292.
Mr Wolff said: “I can’t remember exactly but this must be something like the 10th year I’ve done it.
“It was hard work and a bit colder than in previous years. It was quite warm in the sun so I got a bit of sunburn but also had freezing fingers.”
Christian Aid Week ends on Sunday.
