Sir – I am writing to support M. Howell of Witney (Letters, April 26) over the appalling condition of the paving stones old and new.
On complaining to the council last year I received a phone call telling me they were checked every three months! There has been no improvement. The new paving outside the council shop is not perfect, I and my husband have both tripped in that area.
The whole situation is a disgrace. It is time the council reviewed the situation and took appropriate action.
