BRITAIN had a perfect fleet of Harrier jump jets in prestige condition.
The Royal Air Force didn’t want to lose them but they were taken out of service anyway.
But we hear now that Britain is going to buy American F35 Joint Strike fighter – a jump jet – at a cost of £250m.
And our jump jets are being sold off to America at a stupid price no doubt. This government should have kept the jump jets it had because £250m would have been better spent towards getting our economy on the move and getting people back to work.
It seems that PM David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne, the two rich kids, are spending taxpayers’ money in the wrong places.
Besides, America wouldn’t have bought the British jump jets if they thought they were old and outdated.
