THE last four flood alerts on Oxfordshire watercourses have been lifted by the Environment Agency.
The warnings covered the River Thames between the county boundary with Gloucestershire and King's Lock, north of Oxford; the River Thame; the Chalgrove Brook; and the River Ray through Blackthorn, Murcott and Islip.
The alert on the Ray was lifted this morning, more than two weeks after it was first imposed.
The other alerts were announced on Thursday, after rain earlier in the week pushed up water levels again after previous warnings were lifted.
