These are some of the pupils at the Schools of Technology, Art and Commerce in St Ebbe’s, Oxford, in the 1930s.
It is part of one of those panoramic photographs popular in the past.
Everyone would take their place and the camera would whirr round to capture the whole school.
The hope was everyone would smile, not pull funny faces to spoil the image.
The picture comes from Cyril Claridge, of Hockmore Street, Cowley, who was a pupil at the school.
The other two sections of the picture will appear soon.
