THE A34 has been reopened after two accidents this morning.
The air ambulance was called in and the road closed off after a motorcyclist and a car collided on the southbound carriageway close to the junction with the B4017 for Drayton about 11.50am.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to suspected neck and pelvic injuries.
About 15 minutes earlier a separate collision between three cars happened on the northbound carriageway, although no one was seriously injured.
A police spokesman said that the road was closed in both directions from the footbridge over the A34 near Steventon but was unable to say how far that closure stretched.
The road was reopened at 1.15pm.
