SCHOOLGIRL Ellen Coles’ zebra-themed show jump will be used at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials after she won a competition.
The nine-year-old, who goes to Garsington Primary School, entered a competition to design the fence at last year’s trials.
Ellen said: “I’m looking forward to the horse trials this year and I’ll be feeling really proud when I see the jump in action.”
The horse fanatic, whose family joint-own a pony called Lily, came up with the idea because her favourite toy is a zebra.
Her mother, Judith Coles, 38, of Garsington, said: “We are big supporters of the horse trial and to see Ellen’s jump designed and made into a jump that is going to be used at the trials is amazing.”
