A 37-year-old man has been charged with creating a bomb hoax.
Steven Thomas is accsued of calling 999 on Monday and telling the operator he made a device at home in Awgar Stone Road, Headington. No bomb was found. Thomas appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday but was not required to enter a plea. He was bailed to return next Wednesday.
