Wards must not be allowed to become death camps.
The end of life is a time to preparing for death while being helped by expert care, and supported by the love of relations and friends.
To die before God’s appointed time is an offence that destroys both the patient’s and the doctor’s soul. The patient is an accomplice to murder.
It will also involve relatives in inciting or assisting in this soul-destroying crime.
If Tony Nicklinson wins his case, it will open the floodgates to murder as the Abortion Act of 1967 has done.
