Ramond Varney, 42, of George Street, Banbury, admitted shoplifting two bottles of spirits valued at £39 from Marks and Spencer in Banbury on November 26, shoplifting four bottles of spirits valued at £85.48 from Marks and Spencer in Banbury on November 27, attempting to shoplift four bottles of spirits valued at £82 from Marks and Spencer in Banbury and going equipped for theft on November 28. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £124 compensation.

Leon Caton, 20, of West Barr Street, Banbury, admitted criminally damaging a door valued at £120 and displaying writing, a sign or other visible representation which was threatening, abusive or insulting and the offence was racially aggravated in Banbury on January 14. Also admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Banbury on February 6. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Alex Elsdon, 22, of Curtiss Close, Bicester, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Bicester on February 4. Given a six-month conditional discharge with £40 costs.

Lee Jordan, 23, of Calthorpe Road, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B), in Banbury on December 13. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Samuel Louther, 19, of Edinburgh Way, Banbury, admittted being drunk and disorderly in Hoserfair, Banbury, on February 4 and criminally damaging a car’s convertable roof to the tune of £1,500 in Bloxham on November 18. Given 200 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £1,500 compensation.

Oliver Pockett, 23, of Farbury End, Great Rollright, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Witney on February 4. Fined £175, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
