SCOUTS and Guides are ganging together this week for an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza.
Oxford’s New Theatre in George Street will once again be playing host to the county’s annual Gang Show put on by hundreds of youngsters. Nearly 200 children will be singing, dancing and acting, in a show partly themed for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Gabrielle Parsons, 14, pictured back left, from Abingdon, is one of the dancers in the show. She is with Emily Spence, Jodie Harris and, front, Lucy Ashley, Katie Braham and Molly Hart.
She said: “I have been rehearsing for months and have been looking forward to it. I am a little bit nervous though.”
The Oxfordshire Scout and Guide Gang Show, which has been taking place since the 1950s, runs until Saturday.
