DETECTIVES investigating phone hacking have carried out a string of dawn raids including at least one in Oxfordshire.
Five men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice by police.
Officers are searching several addresses after dawn raids in London, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Hertfordshire, Scotland Yard said.
Officers from Operation Weeting - the inquiry into voicemail interceptions - said they consulted the Crown Prosecution Service before carrying out the operation.
