THE eyes of the fashion world will once again turn to the city this year for Oxford Fashion Week.

The event takes place during the first week of November – including Bonfire Night – and promises to be the biggest to date.

Shows will include a red carpet haute couture show at the Ashmolean Museum, a High Street fashion event, a music and fashion concept show, young designer awards and a lingerie show.

Leader of Oxford City Council Bob Price said: “The week has grown in a very short time from an idea from students who were aiming to create a showcase for their work, to a series of events that is attracting the future stars of fashion as well as some of the world’s most renowned designers.”

Fashion week organisers are now calling for applications from businesses who want to get involved. To find out more visit oxfordfashionweek.co.uk
