WHY should we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Greek people?
Yes, I feel sorry for their plight but that is their own government’s fault.
They chose to join the Euro and, like a lot of their neighbours, they thought it was going to be the best.
How wrong they all are, with a lot of the countries that have the Euro as their currency now wishing they had not made that change.A lot of the problems are down to pure corruption within their own parliaments, and they are quite clever at corruption at the European parliament.
Greece now – who is going to be next, the Italians, Spanish or the Irish? As long as Great Britain stays out of the Euro and hopefully helps bring about its downfall, and all the Euro zone countries revert to their original currencies, then everybody will be better off BARRY GIBBS Leigh Croft Wootton
