LET those who wish to pray before local council meetings do so — most of them need all the help they can muster.
Let those who wish to attempt a few press-ups do so, and let those who wish to sing Rule Britannia or The Red Flag do that, as long as no-one is forced to participate in such activities nor, preferably, witness them.
This is merely a question of common sense and decency in a relatively free society and should neither need to be enshrined in law nor deliberately omitted from the statute books.
