THE M40 northbound near Thame has been shut after five vehicles crashed.
Police said four cars and one van were involved in two separate accidents at about 2.05pm on the northbound carriage way between Junction 7 and 8.
They could not say if the crashes were related and the road is due to reopen shortly.
