WHATEVER the rights and wrongs of the Falklands or Malvinas dispute, transferring ‘William Wales’ out there in the current political climate is bound to be viewed as provocation by the Argentinians and other South Americans.
What’s more, if the stint is merely routine, as suggested, it is scarcely going to represent much of a morale booster for the islanders.
Meanwhile, congratulations to his brother on becoming a qualified Apache helicopter pilot.
At least he will now presumably have a couple more outfits to rotate with his SS officer costume when attending fancy dress parties or whatever.
