CAN somebody please explain why the bus stop along The Slade, between Cinnaminta Road and Three Fields, has been built out into the road?

It isn’t straight: it fractionally guides the traffic further out towards the middle of the road.

There are always vehicles parked on the opposite side of the road so, all in all, this protrusion into the main road has narrowed it down quite considerably.

This is a main route for emergency vehicles, so where is the logic?

All it does is cause traffic delays at peak times when a bus is stationary at the stop.

I hope that it doesn’t cause an accident. Not all drivers are careful!

What do cyclists think – are they put at more risk?
