PROBLEMS were experienced at Oxford Brookes’ campuses in Wheatley, Marston, Harcourt and Headington.
West Oxfordshire District Council reported problems with power lasting about 10 minutes at the Woodgreen offices in Witney.
At the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington, the back-up generator kept normal services running.
Police headquarters in Oxford Road, Kidlington, saw flickering power for a few minutes.
Homes in Yarnton and Kirtlington were also hit by power cuts.
