GOVERNORS at Burford School have voted to proceed with an application to convert it into an academy from July 1.
Governors said the 1,200-pupil secondary school would be better off financially and could move away from the constraints of the National Curriculum.
Chairman of governors Andrew Pittman said: “We all look forward to an exciting future.”
