WITH reference to your article about Woolworths staff having more compensation (Monday’s Oxford Mail), I knew about this from the news but what has made me mad, and probably a lot of my other work colleagues, is that we are not going to get any part of this payment.
The reason being we were unfortunate enough to work in the smaller stores.
This is most unfair. After all, we all worked for Woolworths, didn’t we?
Also, where I worked in the Cowley store, many of us had worked there for a good number of years, some for 25 years or more.
I hope that the unions do fight for us and we receive a share of this payment. Talk about injustice.
