A 51-year-old driver has died following a two-car collision near Bicester last night.
The accident happened on the B430 just outside Weston-on-the-Green at 7.25pm.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said the man’s family has been informed but the man has not yet been formally identified.
The collision between two cars happened at the junction of Akeman Street and Northampton Road just outside Weston-on-the-Green.
The accident involved a Vauxhall Corsa travelling along Akeman Street towards the B430 from Chesterton, and a Range Rover travelling from Middleton Stoney towards Weston-on-the-Green on the B430.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and anyone with any information should contact PC Dave Mitchell on the force enquiry centre number 101, or the Crimestoppers charity line 0800 555111 on an anonymous basis.
