IN answer to June Banham’s query (January 5) I can assure her that, although there are not many of us, I am still a whistler (sadly to the annoyance of many people).
I have a full repertoire, mostly tunes of the Great American Songbook and big band era, but a large selection of classical melodies too. I also sing – but not in public!
