A lane of the M40 southbound is closed after a collision between two lorries this afternoon.
The collision took place between junction five and six at 12.16pm.
It involved an Iveco lorry and a Volvo lorry and the first lane of the motorway has been closed.
Two people in the Iveco lorry sustained head and back injuries and the ambulance services is at the scene.
A spokesman for the Highways Agency said congestion had been minimal and they were working to open the lane as soon as possible.
