A man has been charged with stealing a Royal British Legion poppy box in the week before Remembrance Sunday.
Richard Richmond, 32, of no fixed abode, is accused of stealing the charity box from a Tesco Express near Wallingford on October 31.
He is also charged with stealing £104.62 of goods and five charity boxes in Wokingham between November 8 and November 11. He was bailed to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on February 7.
