ANYONE looking to shift a few extra pounds after Christmas can join the Shotover Country Park Boxing Day walk.
The walk has been organised by GO Active at Oxford City Council and will take walkers to one of the most spectacular views of the city. The free event starts at 10.45am from Shotover car park.
Local historian Mike Stranks will lead the two-mile stroll and will be sharing some of the park’s historical tales.
He said: “I’m looking forward to taking people to different parts of Shotover and explaining some of the fascinating history of the area.
“It should be really good fun and get people out from in front of the TV on Boxing Day.”
