IT is believed no one has been seriously injured in the crash that has closed the B480 Cuxham Road this morning.
Police spokesman Craig Every said there are only reports currently of a man suffering a broken leg.
A red Volkswagen Golf and silver Peugeot 206 collided at about 6.45am today, closing the road between the A329 at Stadhampton and Monument Road in Cuxham.
A fire service spokesman said there were four people in the two vehicles, two of whom were injured and had to be cut out of the wreckage.
Mr Evry said one man had suffered a suspected broken leg but he had no information on other injuries.
About 15 firefighters are on the scene.
Mr Evry said it was not yet known how long the road would be closed.
