A LIVING room was damaged in a fire thought to have been started by a candle and a lamp in Kingston Blount, near Chinnor.
Firefighters were called at about 4.30am today and used breathing apparatus and thermal imagining equipment to tackle the blaze.
The occupants evacuated the High Street house before the fire service arrived
