PETER Pan is coming to the West End – of Oxford.

West Oxford residents have spent two months rehearsing for their first community pantomime.

The 30 actors and actresses, ranging in age from four to 40, will perform to the public in late January.

Resident Annabel Dunstan said: “Lots of people just thought it would be a nice way to bring the community together. There’s lots of creativity in West Oxford and we wanted to show it off.”

Immy Rail, who plays a ‘Lost Girl’ in the pantomime with her sister Ione, 12, said: “It’s really good, I like all the different scenes we do.

“I have to be silly and I also get to sing. It’s nice being in the same show as my sister.”

The pantomime will run from Thursday, January 26, until January 28, at West Oxford Community Centre with two shows on the Saturday.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. They go on sale next week at the Eggs Eggcetera shop in Botley Road.
