A £15,000 fraud could be solved if someone can help to identify one of today’s Badvent suspects.

Behind door 18 is a CCTV image of a man police need to talk to after Lloyds TSB Bank in Summertown was targeted by criminals who used a fake driving licence as identification to pose as a cardholder picking up a replacement debit card.

The crime on October 5 led to the card being used on a spending spree in Dubai.

Pc Emma Lavers said: “Prior to a man coming into the bank, a call had been placed with Lloyds to say the card had been damaged and a replacement was needed.

“It is believed the offender then used the card in Dubai to purchase items worth around £15,000 using chip and sign, not chip and pin.”

Appealing for help in tracing a man who could hold the key to solving the case she said: “Do you recognise this man, who was smartly dressed, wearing a flat cap and glasses?”

And behind door 17 is a man who could help to solve a Blackbird Leys burglary.

Dayne Smith is wanted over a burglary in Watlington Road on November 27.

Det Sgt Claire Storry said: “An intruder forced entry into the house and left with an Xbox games console, cash, debit cards and a driving licence belonging to the victim.”

She wants to question the 20-year-old about the break-in, as he may have information useful to her inquiries.

Smith is white, 5ft 10in tall and slim. He has blue eyes and dark brown hair and sometimes has a moustache.
