YOUNGSTERS got into the Christmas spirit as they used their festive card designs to make money for the homeless.
Pictures from pupils at Appleton Primary School now feature on nine of Oxford-based The Gatehouse’s charity Christmas cards.
The school also sold packs of cards to raise more than £300 for the charity.
Ben Wardell-Yerburgh, nine, pictured second right, had his paper mosaic of Father Christmas printed on the charity’s cards.
He said: “I felt that us as a family are really lucky and that there are some people in the world that are homeless and live outside in the city, and that made me really sad.”
