Firefighters were called after a car hit a lamppost on the A40 between Ducklington and the Asthall Barrow roundabout at about 1am yesterday.
No-one was injured. Fire crews isolated the electricity to the lamppost, which was then removed from the road by highways officers and Southern Electricity.
