Ricky Barrett, 29, of Holland Place, Oxford, admitted two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm in Oxford on March 13 and March 18. Given a three-month jail term, suspended for a year. Excluded from the Quarry Gate pub for a year and told to pay £400 compensation and £105 costs.

Marrian Cobraretti, 38, of Toot Hill Butts, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat valued at £85.69 from Waitrose in Oxford on October 4. One other offence taken into consideration. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement and a nine-month supervision order, and told to pay £85.69 compensation and £20 costs.

Simon White, 32, of Bernwood Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to work as instructed on September 11, shoplifting six packets of razor blades valued at £103.44 from Boots in Oxford on October 26 and a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence. Jason Ball, 26, of Priest End, Thame, admitted drink driving in High Street, Thame, on October 29. Namely having 92 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £240, a £15 victims’ surcharge, £120 costs. Banned from driving for two years.

Simon Salaman, 20, of John Mason Road, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Abingdon on September 17. Given a three-month conditional discharge.

Michael Brock, 28, of Nizewell Head, Steeple Aston, admitted failing to surrender to court bail on November 15. Fined £65 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, deemed paid by detention in the courthouse until the end of the day.
