BANBURY: A 26-year-old man from the town has died after his Vauxhall car hit a tree.
Edward Chaffe died in hospital on Tuesday after the collision last Friday in Cockley Road, Farthinghoe, Northamptonshire.
He was taken to Banbury’s Horton General Hospital and later transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he died.
Thames Valley Police are seeking witnesses, particularly two drivers who stopped at the scene at 11.40pm and midnight.
Witnesses should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
