Thames Valley Police has published the results of last year’s annual campaign to put a stop to drink and drug driving as they launch this year’s crackdown.
During December 2010, more than 5,156 drivers were breathalysed by Thames Valley Police with 261 drivers found to be over the limit.
In Oxfordshire, 1,768 motorists were stopped and breathalysed, with only 64 failing the test.
