A CHILDREN and young adults’ hospice has opened a ‘pop-up’ Christmas shop in time for the festive rush.
Helen & Douglas House has opened the temporary shop next door to the charity’s first shop in Summertown.
It opened on Wednesday when staff Luciano Pistone and Sandra Woodruff, joined by ‘Reindeer’ dog Macey, got in the Christmas spirit by dressing up.
Assistant manager Ms Woodruff said the shop would have a large range of Christmas products, including gifts, wrapping and decorations, along with what is believed to be the biggest selection of Christmas cards in Oxfordshire from a single charity. This year’s Santas on the Run fun run will be held in aid of the hospice on Sunday, December 11.
