A 75-year-old woman who went missing on Saturday was found dead in a gravel pit last night.
Valerie Adams, of Townsend, was found at about 8.15pm and her family has been informed.
Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
Police originally said that Mrs Adams' body was found in Abingdon Marina but this was wrong. It was the former gravel pit on the opposite side of South Quay.
Angela Gomersall, 69, from Northamptonshire was found in the water at Abingdon Lock after a five hour search on November 7.
And 32-year-old Gavin Dible from Hampshire died in the River Thames near the marina in April.
