David Cameron has now admitted that despite draconian cuts to our public services, which has included the sacking of tens of thousands of hard-working employees, the national debt has increased and will continue to increase.

We are constantly told that the purpose of the cuts is to reduce the national debt. Now that this is blatantly having the opposite effect, we should expect the cuts programme to be stopped, and the cuts which have taken place be reversed as a matter of urgency.

That this is not happening shows that the cuts are a result of right-wing dogma rather than rational policy.

We are now faced with the promise of massive cuts in the NHS, exacerbated by the fragmentation and privatisation to be caused by the Health Bill currently in the House of Lords.

This will affect every one of us who cannot afford private health care (ie 99 per cent of us).

Now is virtually the last moment that this can be stopped before this catastrophe is upon us.

We call on the Liberal Democrats to walk out of this unholy coalition now, which could bring about the fall of this incompetent and uncaring Government.
