OXFORD: An estimated £40,000 stash of cocaine was discovered at a address in East Field Close, Headington.

Officers arrested 29-year-old Sarfraz Ali in the early hours on Sunday after a fracas in Park End Street.

Five wraps of cocaine were seized, and approximately half a kilo of cocaine with a street value of at least £40,000 was later found at the East Field Close house.

Ali appeared before Oxford magistrates’ court yesterday charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cannabis and a public order offence. He was remanded in custody until December 5.
