DIDCOT: A convicted rapist who misled police about his whereabouts has been given a community order.
Paul McLaughlin was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court yesterday. McLaughlin had served the equivalent of a four-month sentence on remand ahead of his trial and was given 12 months’ supervision and a six-month alcohol-treatment order.
