Re: Trolley confusion. I am writing in reply to RW Tucker’s response to my letter.
Your letter that was printed on November 3 started: ‘Sorry to knock lady drivers’, not ‘I consider women drivers to be better’, therein lies my confusion at presuming there was a sexist undertone.
My apologies. If I had read that you thought ‘women drivers were better’ at the beginning of your letter I would have taken your letter as it was probably intended, a light-hearted personal observation, and not a dig at women!
