Special delivery at 11th hour
AMELIA Grace Poppy Allen-Miles has perfect timing — being born at 11.11 on the 11th of the 11th, 2011.
Little Amelia, pictured with her mum Holly, was due 15 days earlier but decided to arrive, weighing 6lb 15oz, as the clock struck the magic mark yesterday at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.
Her 22-year-old mum, who lives in Bicester, added the middle name of Poppy to mark Armistice Day and “to pay tribute to our brave troops”.
Miss Allen-Miles added: “I have quite a few friends who are in the Navy and some who are in the Army, including soldiers in Afghanistan, and I think they are incredibly brave.”
Ms Allen-Miles lives with her mum Debbie Allen-Miles, 52, and sister Sophie, 19.
